Allowing Diana to relax a little the rest of the team headed out to Visayas Ave and Area 4.
Two clubs were running in Area 4: 7+ Jigsaw Club and 15+ Craft Club.
Meanwhile Visayas Ave was open to all ages for play. Play is a key component in the work of Jigsaw. They recognise the value of play for the development of children, and especially in such poor areas that Jigsaw work in. One worker recalled the first time that toys were available for the clubs - the Jigsaw workers, never having had toys, couldn't believe their eyes and it was difficult to let the children play as the workers were having so much fun! The children are just as enthusiastic.
Ruth gave a hand with preparing food for the children - lunch was provided at both venues.
However Praxis Team is back at the Guest House ready to tuck into ... sandwiches provided by Kate! How much are we missing good old sandwiches!!!
